should i first install sql server 2008 first or v.s. 2008??

hey

before some days i was trying to install sql server 2008, i have already install v.s. 2008 (professional edition) but i tried to install sql swerver 2008 there was error in every time.

my laptop has IIS 7, framework 3.5. in short my laptop full fill all pre-requirement of the sql server. i could not understands whats the problem. so try a another database named " NORTHWIND" .  when i was try to connect with  database , there were sql instance problem. i tried all solutions , but i was far away from success.

i format my system , install fresh copy of the windows 7. now this time i first install sql server 2008 first , there was error regarding framework.

now find solution of this problem...

first i install vs 2008 with frame work 3.5.
after that i uninstall vs 2008.
now i first install sql serer 2008 but keep in mind that please don't use by default instance name. give your own instance name.
after the success fully install the sql server 2008 , install vs 2008.

now my both vs 2008 & sql server are running okay.

WINDOWS AUTHENTICATION

when we install a Visual studio to our window we normally used Internet explore as web-browser. it is running very fine.
what happen we try to open localhost in mozila. it gives you authentication error to solve this problem try this solution.

just follow the below step & it will slove your problem...

A. In Firefox type about:config in the address bar
B. Find the preference named network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris
C. Doubleclick and type localhost
D. Enter and you're done
